One publication I particularly like is Everyday Practical Electronics, a UK publication. Others include Elektor (UK, German and Dutch versions), Silicon Chip (Australia), Nuts and Volts (USA), Electronics for You (India), Servo (for robotics enthusiasts), and Circuit Cellar (USA, self-described as "By Engineers for Engineers"). There are any number of subscription and online professional magazines available also, check Michael Gellis' Magazine Links or do a web search!
